Direct Cremation £995 (unattended cremation service)

A direct cremation is a simple and dignified cremation service removing the stress, pressure and expectation of a traditional funeral as there is no funeral service or ceremony. 

This allows you and your family to celebrate the life of your loved one whenever, wherever and however you want.

Funeral arrangements can sometimes feel rushed, with some big decisions being made without thought or rationale. 

Families can stretch countrywide, sometimes worldwide and trying to honour  or everyone's wishes and availability isn't always practical. 

Why stress with time restraints traditional funerals can sometimes impose? Is a traditional funeral expected of us? 

With the cremation taking place with no service, the ashes are returned to you so you and your family can choose a more appropriate and personalised celebration of your loved one's life; days, weeks or even months after the cremation has taken place. 

Perhaps your loved one enjoyed the hot weather and sunshine? Wait until Summer and celebrate their life and memory at their favorite spot in the park. 

Hold a small service or memorial at Christmas when the whole family are together?

Do it their way  

• Advice, support and guidance; handling of all relevant paperwork and liaising with third parties on your behalf
• Scheduled collection of the deceased from Hospital/Coroner's mortuary in normal working hours (home/nursing home collection 24hr/7 £150)
• Preparation of the deceased (dressing in own clothes or a simple gown)
• Care of the deceased prior to the cremation
• Provision of a polished oak effect coffin suitable for cremation,  fully fitted and furnished with a taffeta interior 
• Transport of the deceased directly to the crematorium in our adapted Jaguar estate vehicle
• Provision of sufficient bearers as required
• Collection and delivery or strewing of cremated remains
• Doctor's Fees (if not required, the overall price will be reduced by £82
• Crematorium Fees (private, unattended cremation at a local crematorium at a time of our choosing)
